Health Bloom Organization in partnership with Living In Today Foundation and Delkom Charity Foundation, were on the ground in the Central Region, driven by a mission to "bloom" where the need is greatest. On December 27th, we conducted our 2025 Christmas outreach in the vibrant community of Anomabo Taido, and the results were nothing short of inspiring.

One of the most critical components of our visit was addressing a "silent" global health crisis: Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). We believe that health literacy is the first line of defense.

Our founder (Vivian Twum), engaged with the community in their local dialect to ensure the message was clear and culturally resonant. We are proud to announce that we successfully educated 236 individuals on the dangers of self-medication and the importance of completing antibiotic courses. By breaking down complex medical concepts into actionable community knowledge, we are helping build a more resilient and health-conscious Ghana.

Beyond education, we wanted to ensure the community had the tools to put good hygiene into practice immediately. Thanks to the incredible support of our partners and sponsors, we were able to distribute essential toiletries and health kits to all participants.

The donation packages included:

Pepsodent toothpaste, sanitary pads, hand sanitizers, antiseptic soaps and toilet rolls

This outreach would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our primary sponsor, Unilever Ghana. Their donation of Pepsodent products allowed us to provide high-quality resources to every individual we met.

Thank you to our volunteers, our donors, and the community of Anomabo Taido for welcoming us with open arms.

Together, we are making health literacy accessible for all.
